Nelahozeves Castle
A hidden gem, the monumental castle of Nelahozeves, one of Bohemia’s finest Renaissance castles, is located in a small village of the same name, approximately 15 miles north of Prague on the Vltava (Moldau) river, known also as the birthplace of the great Czech composer, Antonín Dvořák.
Chateau Veltrusy
Veltrusy are located on the right bank of the Vltava, a mere 20 kilometres to the north-west of Prague. Most of the visitors to the town, however, direct their steps to the high Baroque Chateau, set in an extensive, landscaped park featuring man-made canals, numerous romantic structures and a fallow deer preserve stretching adjacent to the park. In its original form Veltrusy Chateau ranked among the most outstanding works of the period of Baroque architecture in Bohemia.
Krivoklat Castle
Krivoklat castle is one not yet fully discovered by the tourists, yet it is one of the most beautiful and authentic in the Czech Republic. It is located in a very green, hilly area on the river Berounka, east of Prague. The castle of Křivoklát belongs to the oldest and most important castles of the Czech princes and kings. The history of its construction starts in the 12th century.
The town of Kutna Hora
Kutná Hora is situated 60 km east of Prague. It is a picturesque medieval town situated some 60km east of Prague. A quick connection to Prague is ensured by a number of domestic express trains and regional bus lines.

The Czech town of Terezin is located 38 miles (60km) from Prague.
