Transportation to and from the Prague Airport

As you get off your flight in Prague, you will have several options of reaching your destination: public transportation, a shuttle company, a taxi, or a pickup previously arranged with us.

Bus
The airport in Prague is serviced by two buses: no. 119 and no. 100. Taking the bus is the cheapest way to get to and from the airport. The ride costs 20 CZK and both bus stops are easy to find. Bus 119 is the better choice if your destination is in the historical center of Prague (the Old Town, Lesser Town, New Town, Prague Castle area) as it connects with line A of the metro, which will get you to the center in no time (2 - 4 stops, depending on where you're going). To take either of the buses, you will need a public transport ticket for 20 CZK (transfer ticket)or you can pay the bus driver directly, in which case you will be charged a small extra fee. Keep in mind that the bus doesn't have much space for luggage, can be crowded in peak times and won't drop you off right at your hotel, so if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to consider using a transfer service or a taxi.

• BUS 119
Bus 119 runs between the Ruzyně Airport and Dejvická metro station (line A). Connections run every 7 to 20 minutes and the ride takes 20 minutes.
Traveling from the airport:
Bus 119 leaves from the second platform outside the Arrivals terminal and runs in the morning from 4:20 a.m. until around 12:10 a.m at night. It will take you to the Dejvická metro station, which is the last stop. From there, you can take the metro using the same ticket (watch the time that's passed since the validation) to continue to your destination. Metro stations: Malostranská - Malá Strana, Staroměstská - Old Town, Můstek - bottom of Wenceslas Square, Muzeum - top of Wenceslas Square.

Traveling to the airport:
Take the metro to Dejvická (line A). Bus 119 leaves from near the station exit and runs from 4:52 a.m. till 0:18 a.m. The airport is the last stop.

Prague Airport

• BUS 100
Bus 100 runs between the Ruzyně airport and the Zličín metro station (line B). The service runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes after 7 p.m. and the ride takes 15 minutes.

Traveling from the airport:
Bus 100 runs from 5:45 a.m. until 11:39 p.m. It will take you to the Zličín metro station, which is the last stop. From there, you can take the metro using the same ticket (watch the time that's passed since the validation) to continue to your destination. Once you get on the metro, expect the ride to take about 20 minutes (11 - 13 stops) to get you into the center.

Traveling to the airport:
Take the metro to Zličín (line B) and get on bus 100, which runs from 5:30 a.m. until 11:50 p.m. The airport is the last stop.

Online Schedules and Connections
You can look up bus 119 and bus 100 schedules at idos.cz. Enter 'Letiste Ruzyne' as the airport stop and 'Dejvicka' (bus 119) or 'Zlicin' (bus 100) as the metro station to or from which you wish to travel. To see schedules and connections beyond that metro station, enter your destination or point of origin instead of the metro station. E.g. if you want to travel from the Prague airport to the Old Town Square, enter 'Staromestska' in the To field.

Taxi
First things first. Taking a taxi in Prague is not simple business. We strongly discourage you from getting into a random taxi that's parked in front of the airport terminal. If you have to, make sure you confirm the price with the driver in advance. A ride from the Prague airport to a destination in the center should not exceed 800 Kč.

STOPIN Transfer Service
You can also arrange with us to be picked up.
We offer you transportation from the airport which costs only 480 CZK ( one car up to 4 people ) or 680 CZK (one car for 5 - 8 people). This price is one way price and has to be paid in cash to the driver after arriving to the destination. The driver would be waiting for you at the arrival hall after confirmed landing time of your plane with a sign in your name and he would take you directly to the accommodation. While this service is one of the cheapest it is also the safest because you cannot get ripped of by a taxi driver which is very common for Prague taxi drivers. If you decide for this option, we will need to know the time and number of your flight. To order the transfer please use the form at the bottom of this page.

Why to use our transfer service ?
