Prague Cards
Two competing companies offer the official Prague city card for tourists. The amount of reductions applied to museum and gallery entry depends upon the card chosen.
There are two "Prague Cards" :Somewhat confusingly, two competing companies offer (what each claim to be) the official Prague city card for tourists. The amount (and type) of reductions applied to museum and gallery entry depends upon the card chosen, as do the other benefits on offer, though each provides a useful three-day option of unlimited travel (with this card, you should specify the public transport add-on when purchasing).
The original Prague Card sro (registered Czech Company) trading since 1991 and available for 740kc or 26 Euros at many recognised sites like American Express offices, Cedok travel offices and others.
A second "Prague Card and Prague Passport" can be bought from some hotels and other offices around Prague. Whilst the prices are different (the original is slightly cheaper) we leave it up to the purchaser to decide between the two.
Available for a basic price of 590 CZK for adults and 410 CZK for children and students, the card offers (for a duration of 3-days) admission to 55 museums, galleries and places of interest.
Prague Tourist Card (Prague Card) is a four-day admission card to over 50 monuments and museums throughout Prague.

Card name: Prague Card and Prague Passport
Cost: 30 Euros
Validity: One Year (includes 3-day travel pass)
Primary offers: Many discounted offers, less in the way of "free entry" but still a good offer. Medical insurance. Not restricted to museums etc, it has discount offers with different bars, restaurants and hotels. People looking for walking tours should take a look at the 50% discounts section.
Public travel pass included: Yes, 3 Day pass can be upgraded to longer duration passes
Possible user: Primarily somebody in Prague for longer periods or somebody frequently visiting Prague in a one year period. People on shorter visits can still use the card but, it can only pay for itself in the short term if you use the higher value offers. The medical insurance is valid for 7 days after card validation. There's a large offer but it seems to be aimed at a widespread audience.
